Niamh Burns

Niamh Burns (they/them) is a chronically ill, non-binary femme Irish poet and artist who writes from the unceded, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. Niamh’s work is informed by sex, intersectional feminism, Catholic guilt, orgasm, lust and gender. Their work has been published in antilang, Stone of Madness Press, Contemporary Verse 2, Lida Literary Magazine and other places. Niamh is the author of the memoir Frances (Split Horse Press, 2021); the poetry collection In Back of Heaven (Split Horse Press, 2021) and the novel Dropping Out (Whiskey Tit Books, 2023).
